The gathering will be in the Glenn Hill Center, Room 130/132 at 6:00pm, and is sponsored by the NDSU Wildlife Society, NDSU NRM Club, and ND Chapter of the Wildlife Society. You are invited to attend the Professional Women in Natural Resources Social which will be held on February 14 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. There will be a silent auction, sharing of career and conservation information, and refreshments served. Cost for professionals is $10 and students are free. The social will be held at the Baymont Inn and Suites in Mandan, ND during the Chapter’s annual meeting. Hope to see you there!
The Professional Women’s Social is back for 2018! The social will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm during the ND Chapter of the Wildlife Society meeting in Mandan. The cost is $10 for professionals (pay upon entry) and free for students.
There will be a silent auction during the social to help raise money to send students to the National TWS meeting and to other committee activities. A Women’s Social will be held Thursday, February 11th from 4- 6 pm, featuring a professional panel discussion on diversity, career, and life balance issues. The UND students will be providing the questions and will moderate the session. Panel members include: Maureen Gallagher (USFWS), Krista Lundgren (USFWS), Randy Crooke (Falkirk Mining Co.), Stephanie Tucker (ND Game & Fish Dept), and Dr. Christina Hargiss (NDSU). UND students that attended the National TWS meeting in Winnipeg will also provide short presentations.
