ND Chapter of The Wildlife Society Presents – Beyond Better Biology – Learn How to Tell Your Conservation Story More Effectively!
February 10-12, 2015 – Mandan, North Dakota
The 2016 Annual Conference will focus on improving the effectiveness of conservation communication. The Conference will feature a number of unique speakers representing disciplines not normally considered by the conservation community. These speakers will help us to more effectively tell our conservation story. In addition, preceding the Conference, there will be two professional development workshops and a free student seminar focused on storytelling for scientists. The workshops will be led by Dr. Randy Olson and held on Tuesday (2/9/16), and the student seminar on Wednesday morning. Details on the workshops and registration forms will be available in the fall newsletter. Proposals for workshops, symposia, panel discussions, and special poster sessions are invited for the 22nd Annual Conference of The Wildlife Society. The NDCTWS annual conference is scheduled for February 11-13, 2015 at the Seven Seas in Mandan. The theme is “2015 – A Pivotal Year for the Future of Conservation”. If you are interested in presenting a paper or poster at the meeting, please send an abstract which includes the title, authors names, address, phone #, and email address to Todd Frerichs at firstname.lastname@example.org by December 1, 2014. December 1 is also the deadline for awards nominations and budget requests.
